The Guy Who Made It Okay to Be a ‘Sakht Launda’

You know his name. Even if you don’t follow the Indian comedy scene, you’ve probably heard his catchphrase. Sakht Launda. The tough guy who doesn’t let feelings get to him. But the magic of Zakir Khan is that he is the complete opposite of that. He is all heart. And that’s why millions of people, not just in India but all over the world, feel like he’s their friend, their older brother.

Zakir Khan isn’t just a comedian. He’s a storyteller. He’s the guy from next door who made it big, but never forgot where he came from.

So who is this guy, really?

एक व्यक्ति, तीन राज्यों की कमान: कौन हैं सी.पी. राधाकृष्णन, जो अचानक सुर्खियों में आ गए?

आजकल सी.पी. राधाकृष्णन राजनीति में खूब चर्चा में हैं। उन्हें झारखंड के राज्यपाल के साथ-साथ अब तेलंगाना के राज्यपाल और पुडुचेरी के उपराज्यपाल का अतिरिक्त जिम्मा भी मिल गया है। एक साथ तीन-तीन राज्यों की जिम्मेदारी मिलना बड़ी खबर है और इसी वजह से वह चर्चा में हैं।

कौन हैं सी.पी. राधाकृष्णन?

सी.पी. राधाकृष्णन कोई नए खिलाड़ी नहीं हैं। वो तमिलनाडु के एक पुराने और बड़े बीजेपी नेता हैं। कोयंबटूर से वो दो बार लोकसभा सांसद भी रह चुके हैं।

उनकी गिनती बीजेपी के उन नेताओं में होती है जो बिना किसी विवाद के चुपचाप अपना काम करते रहते हैं।

जैसे ही उनका पद खाली हुआ, राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने झारखंड के राज्यपाल सी.पी. राधाकृष्णन को इन दोनों जगहों की अतिरिक्त ज़िम्मेदारी संभालने को कहा। अब वो झारखंड के साथ-साथ तेलंगाना और पुडुचेरी का काम भी देखेंगे।

बीजेपी का ‘मिशन साउथ’: “बीजेपी की दक्षिण भारत की राजनीति को साधने की कोशिश के तहत, तमिलनाडु के नेता सी.पी. राधाकृष्णन को तेलंगाना का भी जिम्मा दिया गया है।”

इन तीनों जगहों पर संतुलन बनाना और सभी संवैधानिक कर्तव्यों को ठीक से निभाना उनके लिए एक बड़ी परीक्षा होगी।
